An Intimate Beach Wedding in Noordwijk
By Aleksandria Rudenko | Updated 28 October 2026

This beach wedding in Noordwijk took place at Beachclub C, right on the dunes by the North Sea. The couple said yes on its wooden deck, surrounded by family and friends. Later, we walked barefoot to the waves together.
Days like this show what my photoshoots across the Netherlands are about. They bring a real place, real people and room to wander wherever the light is good.
A Beach Club on the Dunes of Noordwijk
Beachclub C sits behind a row of dune roses, with a straw-roofed gate that opens straight onto the sand. For the wedding, the deck was dressed in dried pampas, orange flowers and white parasols with long fringes. On the tables, jugs of water with lemon, lime and cucumber waited in the cool sea air.

The sky stayed grey all day. For a beach wedding in Noordwijk, that is a gift. It means soft light on every face and nobody squinting into the sun.
Vows Under White Parasols
The guests sat on director’s chairs facing the sea, under strings of lights. Two of them stood at the front and spoke in turn. Meanwhile, the bride and groom listened side by side, holding hands. She wore a long white dress with a lace top, and he wore a white shirt, light blue trousers and a pale blue tie.

Then the two of them poured wine together into one glass, both laughing. After that came the rings at a tall wooden table, a kiss and a long round of applause.

Hugs, Toasts and a Flying Groom
Afterward, the hugs began. A friend in a green dress held the bride for a long moment. Soon the first glasses went around the deck. I kept moving between the guests, so nobody had to stop talking for a photo.

On the path to the beach, a group of friends lined up for a photo. Then they lifted the groom high in their arms, and everyone burst out laughing, him most of all.

Barefoot on the Beach in Noordwijk
Next, the two of them took off their shoes, and we walked down to the waterline. They ran hand in hand into the waves and left a long trail of footprints behind them.

Between the waves, there were quiet moments too. Up in the dunes, among the grass and blue sea holly, he kissed her. Behind them, the sea stayed soft and grey.

By the water, they leaned their foreheads together, eyes closed. A moment later, she looked back at me over her shoulder, laughing. The wind played with the lace of her dress.

Later, the party moved into a tent with string lights and long wooden tables. There was corn on the grill, there were gifts to unwrap, and there was a lot of laughter. For the last group photo, everyone raised a glass, and so ended my day at their beach wedding in Noordwijk.
