The Netherlands has lots of breathtaking places with fun outside activities for the whole family. One of such locations is the so-called Dutch windmill village of Zaanse Schans. A residential area is full of wooden houses, mills, and barns in which the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life. Located in near proximity to Amsterdam, it is an immensely popular destination for both travelers and locals.

Mao, Takuma, and their daughter Emili, a gorgeous Japanese ex-pat family from Amsterdam, are frequent visitors of this authentic Dutch village. Capturing their time together in candid family portraits is a way of treasuring these moments for years to come. This amazing family reached out to me with the request to memorize their happy family time with an outdoor family photoshoot at Zaanse Schans.

The characteristic Dutch windmills, gorgeous green grass field, and the beautiful river Zaan are an astonishing décor for spontaneous family photography. Shooting family photos during the golden hour sunset, ads stunning colors and depth to the portraiture. Photographing such a friendly and pleasant family at such a unique Dutch landmark was an incredible photo experience!

Are you looking for fun outdoor family activities and would you like a professional family photographer to memorize your happy moments together with a family photo session? It would be my utmost pleasure to capture your uniqueness with an at ease family shoot!
